I'm ordering 4 of them. I just need to find my checkbook and does anybody have a postage stamp? I do everything on line these days, including all of my bills, so I'm not accustomed to dealing with stamps, envelopes and checks.
I will advise that anyone doing business on line keep your firewall, spyware & virus definitions up to date, and check for updates DAILY, do not count on your auto-updates to do this for you. Your protection is only as good as your last update. And even then...

Okay, we have had some shirts ordered verbally a month or so ago that have gone unclaimed and we've had the shirts about 2 weeks. E-mails have not been returned, so at this point I'm putting one size 3X on the market. I'll wait on the others, as the other guy may be on vacation, but the other buyer has been posting recently.

Just spoke with the screenprinter and the second order will be ready this week!! The rest of the orders that had been on hold will be shipped out by the end of the week!! And the 3X put on the market a few days ago is off...guess e-mail is sometimes as slow as snail-mail! As always, mega-thanks to all who've ordered! Your attitudes are contagious!! ;D

Just a quick note. There is a $2.00 charge extra per shirt for sizes 2X and 3X. For some reason that's not on the form, but will be. One would have to go back a ways to the post first stating the prices. I received an order for one of each, but the check was for regular price. I will honor it, as this info is missing from the form.
Thanks!!!

Wowww!! I picked up the second order of shirts yesterday and now they are all gone!! I am calling in a new order either this weekend or the first of the week, just FYI, so if anyone is interested, just lemme know. I am also going to work on posting color samples offered by Gildan, the brand of the shirts, just in case anyone would like another color choice. We may either make a color change a little later or make that option available now...it just depends on what everyone wants.

Here's a link showing other colors the t-shirts are available in. This particular link shows fewer choices than my catalog, but this will do until I can find all the choices. www.visagescreen-print.com/gildan_colors.phpIf you choose a color other than the current yellow haze, keep in mind a color that won't clash with the logo colors of blue (WKLO) and black (WAKY) and won't hide them, either.

Just a suggestion: If you are reading this, but don't have access to a printer to get the order form for the shirt, never fear, because Max is easy to deal with by email. Just email Max, and he will hook you up with a shirt.
Oh and Max, have you considered renting some booth space for the Ky State Fair, because I think you'd sell a bunch of shirts at the Fair.

I wonder how many of the WAKY/WKLO alum's/listeners would be interested in a t-shirt(s) of these two great icons? I would be willing to do some research if I can find enough interest. I'm not sure if there is a minimum requirement or not, but this as well as design options can be researched on my end. For starters, I think the logos for these two sites would make for a good start. I could also research any past logos for the stations. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Max Highbaugh Isn't it great when a dream becomes reality? I'm sure the shirt idea has already succeeded beyond your wildest dreams, and to think this idea almost didn't happen because of "lack of interest". I hope you sell a shirt to every citizen in the Kentuckiana area, because those shirts represent a time when radio was king in this town! 8-)

Just a reminder to all who have ordered t-shirts since the 13th, including at the reunion, I was told when I placed the order that the next print date was not until August 1. This kinda surprised me, as there was never a 'print deadline' before. Either that or I was just lucky to order at the right time. Anyway, since that's a week from tomorrow, I am guessing they will go out by the 10th (just guessing, mind you). And to Faith, I was able to order a child's large for Bill's precious grandaughters!

The latest order of shirts is ready and I will pick them up today or tomorrow. They will ship out around the end of the week! Thanks to all who have shirts on this order for your patience.
Just FYI, I ordered a couple extra XL's and a L on this order to round it out, in case anyone is interested.
Thanks!

Just FYI, I'm waiting to get another order out and I have 4 so far, so if you wanna get your order in, you've still got time. We try to have at least 10 to keep the prices down. Also, I still have 7 XL's left from order #3 and 1 L from order #1, so if you want 'em I got 'em. Thanks again to those who have ordered and I hope you're wearing them proudly!

If folks are wondering just how many of these little babies are running around from the Ohio Valley to Florida (thanks to Travis), as of today, is 57, not counting the 7 i have yet to order. Of course there's still a ways to go, but who will be donning the 100th shirt?

I'm single and don't cook. I have a series of restaurants that I patronize, on a nightly basis, and I've been wearing a WAKY-WKLO t-shirt on two nights out of the week to a different restaurant. I ordered 4 and two of them are mounted on the walls of my home.
The first round of baby-boomers have hit 60 and are flocking to Florida in droves. It's just a matter of time before I get a comment on the shirts.

Do you suppose that hot women gravitate to the shirts. I've had some check outs recently and you know my jeans don't fit any better than before the WAKY/WKLO shirt.

On another thread (I thought it was this one) I had indicated there may have been a 'saturation' of the t-shirts and had decided to temporarily suspend orders. Well, my wife handed me an order Friday and rather than send his check back, I'm gonna hang my shingle again and say if anyone wants more shirts (Christmas is around the corner), you can go ahead and send your order in, so I can get enough shirts made to make it worthwhile.
Thanks!

Got off the phone with the screen printer this afternoon. Of the recent orders, half of them are for Christmas gifts. When asked, she told me in order to ensure shirts are ready and shipped before Christmas, orders should be submitted by me no later than Dec. 3rd, which is 2 weeks from tomorrow (Nov. 19th). Thanks!

Alrighty...last mention of the deadline for Christmas orders going out Friday. I'm gonna go ahead and set a 5:00 cutoff tomorrow, Dec. 1st so I can phone the orders in. I've got several orders in...don't be left out, or else you'll have to wait until after the holidays (the screenprinter is closed Christmas week). As always, I thankee!

The day has arrived I dreaded, that on which prices can no longer be held at 10 bucks a shirt. The order I placed Friday for a total of 8 shirts came up to $78.00, which only pays for the shirts. I will have to eat the shipping and materials, but have no choice but to change future order prices to $12.00 per shirt and still 2 bucks extra for 2X/3X. Hopefully this will cover everything. As you remember neither I or John Quincy have made anything on these shirts. I will honor prices of this last order, though. John will be making the change to the t-shirt link shortly. Thanks

We're putting together another order for shirts! Go to the T-shirt page on the homepage and place your order! Note the price change, due to manufacturer cost increase...and we still don't make a dime! WKLO's Gary Major has his order in (his 3rd)...how about you?

There will be a set-up for T-shirts at the 2006 WAKY-WKLO reunion scheduled for July, for those who haven't still haven't gotten their own yet! These will be excellent momentos of the two radio giants! There will be shirts available in the yellow haze color already being worn and other colors may be available as well, depending on contrast with the logos.
Be sure to get yours and if you can't wait go to the t-shirt page and order yours by mail!

In anticipation of the August reunion (only four months away!) we will be placing another order for t-shirts in the coming month, both to prepare for the reunion and to satisfy orders already placed by folks waiting for us to get enough (Gary Major included, who has been waiting the longest!). I will be ordering a combination of sizes and selecting a second color shortly, so be sure to get your order in and reserve one in your size! Get it in now and avoid the wait!
The second design is on hold for the moment (79waky.com/WAKYOnline), as the screenprinter we've been using is having difficulty duplicating the logos, unbelievable as that may be. We might start shopping around to see if somene else can, but leave the current design with the current guys. Everyone seems to be pretty pleased with their work.

As the next order for shirts will be placed in the next couple of weeks, I am supplying a link containing the colors that are or will be offered in the next batch. www.signaturesx.com/gildancolor.htmIn addition to the current yellow haze, C-003, I will have shirts made in red, C-040, and Carolina blue, C-109. If you would like to place an order before the reunion in August and choose a color beforehand, you can e-mail me from the T-shirt page on this home page or just send me a PM. Remember this is your chance to custom order your own shirt(s). Otherwise, I will order a round number of shirts to bring. Of course, as always, if you don't intend to be at the reunion your shirt will be mailed.

A decision has been made to make this next order the last one for the t-shirts, therefore it will be a 'closeout' of sorts . The final order, which will include shirts for the reunion, will be placed at the end of the week and will be reflected on the link on the home page. It's been fun getting these babies made and sharing them with you!

The final order has been placed for the WAKY/WKLO t-shirts . A total of 50 shirts have been ordered and when these are gone, they're gone. They will be available in sizes XL and L and a mixed bag of Yellow Haze (roughly 75% of them), Carolina Blue and Red (the remaining 25%). Any remaining t-shirts will be available August 5th at the WAKY-WKLO reunion. Thanks so much for the interest in these quality t-shirts in the past year .

Oops...Ben just brought to my attention there's no place for color selection on the order forms. This will be added, but for now (if you're ordering) just write in your choices.
Thanks.
