...remember them? Remember how so many of them were so catchy and many of which made it to the Top 40? How many of you knew girls who would sing "We're Gonna Make It" while walking that LaVerne & Shirley little move and chant? Ever notice how long it's been since a new TV show had a memorable song? Ah, remembering those good ole days. It use to be those theme songs. Today, it is more like some commercial jingles that catch on and gets in your head. Remember Clark Super 100 Gasoline jingle? Max, you can probably remember the "MasterCard" jingle and a few others like that.

No, Ben, not the Clark Gasoline jingle, but I do remember the old Clark Teaberry gum commercials where the guy pops a stick in his mouth and does a little dance as they are playing a Herb Alpert song (The Mexican Shuffle). ...and for those of you who want a smile this morning: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fk11Acjofu8

Some intstrumental themes made the top 40 as well. "Hawaii Five 0" and "Batman" come to mind.

It's not brand new (about 5 years old), but me and the missus like the theme from "Monk" by Randy Newman: "It's A Jungle Out There".
We enjoy "Monk" and "Psych" on the USA Network.

Max, The Clark Gasoline jingle was probably before your time. ;D That jingle dates back to around '58-'61 or so. TLT, do you remember these jingles when airing from the rack mount Maggies at "The Mighty 1290" in Peoria? I know WPEO aired them.

Television Program themes that I have caught myself humming or singing to "Theme from Happy Days", the "Jefferson's", "Mission Impossible", just to name a few. I do remember putting a promo together with the Mission Impossible theme for some type of contest those days in the KY home Life Building.
