I've been a bit busy of late, but had enough time to do a quick check of my usual web sites and was surprised to find that WAKY 103-5 is now streaming their audio over the net. The sound is excellent and Les' production kicks rear (to put it nicely). Congrats to WAKY 103-5 for finding a way to finally pull this off (I'm sure it's not cheap) and making it possible for people like me to hear the station from as far away as Venice, Florida. So far, there is no confirmation regarding rumors that the Duke of Louisville took a cut in pay (on his Daily Baileys) to make the stream possible, but I'll keep you posted. Wow! I just heard John Quincy promoting this web site. This is gonna be fun. And now I think I know where the money for the stream is coming from. Oh, well. John Quincy is probably getting a good rate. Because it's around 2:40 AM as I write.

The Duke take a pay cut? That'll happen about the same time that Edsel becomes the #1 selling car in the world!

What's really odd is that I haven't heard any on-air promotion for the stream. I wonder if Les has gotten the word? LOL!! He was sure cooking on election day morning and his show started at 5 AM. I wasn't expecting to hear him until 6. It's around 2:30 AM and I'm listening to Catman (or Cat Man). He's pretty good, but I don't see a listing for him in the WAKY Warriors section on their site. He also has an awful lot of energy for this time of night, so I'm wondering if he's LIVE or Memorex. I'm actually hearing a bit of the stream here & there because I've got technical problems at work and have to keep running out into the plant to correct a problem. Hate it when I have to leave the control center to actually go do my job. Anyway, check out WAKY 103-5's streaming audio at: www.streamaudio.com/listen?station=waky_fm
