I want to thank the person(s) for creating this website.
It is great to hear my father (mason Lee Dixon) back in his days at WAKY79. I never did get to hear much of him on the radio as i was just a baby at the time he was there. I did have a cassette tape of him but i lost it in my many moves from here to there. Anyway i just want to thank the people who made this site and if there are any other things that you have of my father on his talk show or anything else other than what is posted. Please contact me,,hehe or him so he can float it to me. Peace, everyone and thanks again, SonofAMasonLee(jason)

Hi Jason. Good to see you on the board. I was an avid listener to your father's radio show and a regular participant on the Mason Dixon Line. I even got to meet YOU at a WAKY Picnic, in Iroquois Park, back in '71. But, you really didn't have much to say. Don't freak out, but I can remember exactly when you were born. It was June 16, 1971. I have no idea how or why I remember such things and I'm not sure that I really want to know. Mason often did trivia on the Mason Dixon Line, and that may have had something to do with it. It may have even had something to do with the fuss we made on the show at the time you were born. Your father was so heavy into astrology that he recorded the exact hour, minute and possibly the exact second that you were born. If any of his astrological charts have been wrong about you, it may be because the hospital clocks were not in sync with actual atomic time. ;D Again, it was good to see a post from you. Take care and tell your dad that I said, "Que Pasa."

Here is a bit of Trivia for you then. IN 198something i made MY radio daybyoo With my Father When he worked for a short stint at WINN. I read commercial promos and the like and even introduced a few songs. i was 10something years old of course i never really followed the Radio career. I did inherit my Dad's voice but have never really done much with it other than just talk . Glad you were a fan of Ole' Mason Lee. Peace,,,Jason
