I was over at Ceasars Indiana the other night, and "Fox on the run" from Sweet(that's the bands name right?)came over music system. It had been 1990 since I heard that tune, as I used to have it in my cassette tape collection. ;D

You are correct, RJC! That was a great tune. You can get it on The Best of Sweet or on Desolation Boulevard, which also has Ballroom Blitz, my favorite.

Is that the same tune The Bluegrass Alliance had some success with? I think it may have been a Manfred Mann original.

Two entirely different songs (and genres, to boot!). Sweet's chorus: "Fox on the run, you scream and everybody comes, a'running, take a run and hide yourself a-way, (foxy on the ru-un)..." Bluegrass Alliance's chorus: "Like a fox (like a fox) [like a fox] on the run". That's supposed to represent a 'staggered' three part harmony.
