Ziggy says there seems to be a trend here, but I'm having a hard time getting a fix. Let's see, WAKY won the majority of the radio wars with the BIG 1080...and 79WAKY.com has gotten the most message traffic and site activity than 1080WKLO.com. WKLO was the first to leave the air, then followed by WAKY...the proboard for 1080WKLO has been silent now for months and now 79WAKY.com's site has been fairly silent for awhile, now. Is history repeating itself? Has the 'novelty' worn off?
Let's hope not.

Many of us have used the boards to recall events that took place 30 to 47 years ago. Those events are frozen in time and cannot be changed. We can describe them in different ways but eventually run the risk of repeating ourselves.
I'm certain that there are many who have yet to discover the sites and it's my hope that they will share memories of their own. I'm also hopeful that more memories will come to mind based on what others may write here. It's all so very unique.
Regardless of what may happen with the message boards, the WAKY & WKLO tribute sites have grown into an incredible wealth of information. Even I have yet to read, see and hear everything that is here. But I will eventually get to it all.
And that may mean more posts to write. ;D

Right On Travis! Thanks to John, you would not believe how many memories are brought back from the days of real radio. When Radio was Real and Fun. I will say it again, Thanks to these sites, it makes an "Old timer" feel young again. and This includes the Mighty 790 & Radio WKLO.
