I think the name of the song was BIG BROTHER the lyrics i remember were BIG BROTHER TAKE ME WITH YOU , WHEREEVER YOU'RE GOING I WANT TO GO TOO, YOU'RE SO SILLY THE THINGS YOU DO, BUT BIG BROTHER HOW I LOVE YOU. ( AND) BUT A FEW DAYS LATER HER HEART ALL AGLOW, IN ORDER THAT I'DE BE THE FIRST TO KNOW, SHE BROUGHT HIM OVER AND IN HER OWN SWEET WAY, SHE TOLD ME OF THEIR WEDDING DAY> PLease reply to schircliff@alltel.net or to this site Thanks

You might want to check with Michael Marvin at WASE. The song may not have been in the Top 40, at least by that title, as there was nothing after 1955. I even searched by phrases within those lyrics and still came up with nothing. I'll check with one more source...

I remember that song. Don't recall the title or artist. I don't think it was ever a big time hit.

I did a little poking around on the net and found where Dickey Lee had a record back in '65 titled "She's Walking Away." On the flip-side is a song titled "Big Brother."
Dickey Lee's songs generally told a story, so this may well be the one. Still, I can't find any audio to verify it and the lyrics do not appear to be anywhere on the net.
