I've been on the 'net tonight perusing the sites of record makers, including the Osmond Brothers, very, very big WAKY hitmakers in the early to mid 70's. I saw a current concert photo and noticed only 3...Wayne, Merrill & Jay (Donny split from the group long ago). I immediately started searching for the reason Alan was out of the photo and found he can no longer perform with his brothers, except for special occasions, due to the fact he has had MS for 14 years! And retired from performing on a regular basis in 1996 (hence the title of this thread). This is unfortunate, as they have sung their barbershop quartet styles since Andy Williams gave them a break on his TV show. Fortunately, he has found other avenues where he can make a difference. Check out www.osmondms.com and www.osmondbros.com for more!

I take it that you're an Osmond Bros. fan? I like the Osmonds, but that's not necessarily why I posted this thread. They were one of the big WAKY hitmakers and I know other folks like them and might find updates interesting. It's like for the information of the community, knowhutImean?

Not that I'm a big Donny fan or anything but I always liked Sweet and Innocent and Go Away Little Girl.
