Just for everyone's information, WAKYOnline is offline for the unforeseeable future. This is not due to any CRB decision or the new station, but rather due to personal issues regarding personal priorities. There comes a time when certain things are more important than WAKY (I know that's hard to believe).
How long this will last is unclear, but for right now this is the right thing for me to do personally.

Wow! That's pretty heavy, Max. I will say that for some time I've been wondering just who has the most irons in the fire-- you or John Quincy.
Regardless, personal priorities do have a tendency of getting in the way of what we love to do most, which has a lot to do with why I haven't been here as often.
Best wishes.

We'd like our listeners to know that WAKYOnline's off the air status today will only be a 24 hour one, as our provider, Live365, is observing a Day of Silence in regards to the CRB's royalty rates proposal. All stations across their server have been shutdown and replaced by all-day PSA's. While we don't agree in this move as being the best one (it's akin to holding one's breath) we have our hands tied behind our back, but we will return to normal broadcasting at midnight, so I'm told.
Thanks!!

We are BACK broad(er, web)casting again as of midnight last night. Don't know if any purpose was served, but hopefully there will not be a recurrence of messages like these, allowing this thread to just filter to the back. Thanks for your patience with what has become rather annoying to alot of us...and you.
