Wow - an excellent site. I grew in southern Indiana listening to Burbank on WHAS. My age group probably skews more to the days of KJ-100, however, WAKY was my mom and dads station throughout there youth and it's status is legendary!!
Love the pics and as I love to remind whoever will listen to me - some truly gr8 radio people have passed through the doors of many radio stations in Louisville, Kentucky.

I've said it before, but it bears repeating: The 79WAKY.com and 1080WKLO.com sites wouldn't be 1/10 as "good" as they are without the contributions of dozens of former employees and fans providing airchecks and other audio recordings, photos, surveys, promotional material, old newspaper articles and information. My hats off to all of you -- including those who participate in these message boards.
BTW, we've got some very cool things in the pipeline content-wise for both sites.
