John W. "Dude" Walker is returning to the hospital on August 5th. He will undergo tests to determine whether he is strong enough to endure yet another surgery in the near future. The tests are centered around the effects of being under anesthesia (what I refer to as an anesthetic stress test) and are necessary due to Dude having been under anesthesia so many times in the past.
More will be posted, as more is learned, either from myself, John Quincy, Max or perhaps even Dude Walker, himself. Needless to say, your hopes & prayers are more than welcome and let's continue to remember the real Tom Dooley, Sheila Richards, and the Duke of Louisville (who is still recovering quite nicely at the time of this writing).

Here's an update from Dude Walker: ___________________________________________________
Travis,
It was a rough operation and the most painful I have had up to date. Today is the first time I have been on the puter since the surgery.
Thanks for caring,
Dude

Praying for a speedy recovery, Dude. We certainly missed you at the Zoo, but I am certainly thankful you are doing better!
