I have been downloading and listening to Mason Dixon's last show on WAKY, my question is what time did his show air, and what time did it end? It appears that some of the callers are partaking in some herbs(if you get my drift ) in that last show . It sounded like a great show, what all did Mason talk about on these shows? I become a fan of Mason Dixon when he was on the WKLO reunion on 1080 in I guess it was about 1991. Not long after that I heard him on the KISS 104 FM, doing the morning show with Frosty Stillwell and Tony Cruise, but after KISS went off the air, I never heard him on the radio again.

Just listened to the Mason Dixon interview. Mason, while at WEKY, did you work with Buddy Kincer? He was Buddy Kay at WAKY, Buddy Scott at CBS and Clear Channel? Was Buddy before your time or after your time at WEKY?

And another question for Mason Lee:
On this website, there is a picture of you at Farigrounds Motor Speedway where you mention that you are a WTMT "news guy". However, in the interview you never mentioned working there as part of your resume'. So when were you at WTMT?

Re: WAKY Photos - Page 19 (at the time of this writing) What an odd feeling to see Mason Lee Dixon standing in front of what was once the Big 79. The last time I saw him in front of it was back in 1972 when he came out to talk with me and some friends for a few minutes. It seems like only yesterday. And Mason seemed taller. In contrast to Mason's body, the wall appears much larger than I recall. It may be due to the other end not appearing in the picture creating the illusion that the wall is much longer than shown. How many of us have stood in front of, or sat, on that wall back in those days? And just why does Mason have his hands up in that manner? I'm guessing that he's saying "Put the cuffs on, boys. This is the scene of the crime and I'm ready to confess everything." Too bad he can't just put those crimes in the form of questions and present them as Trivia on an upcoming Mason Dixon Line.

Could be he's showing off his "Perfect Nails." :-)

I missed that one, completely. Maybe because Mason is standing under the stencil for "Perfect Hair" rather than the one for "Perfect Nails." Then again, at age 52, maybe I'm just getting to be slow.
