Check out the Bill Bailey Tribute Page: 79waky.com/billbailey.htmAs far as we know, he's doing fine. I'm going to be in Louisville in July and plan to stop by and say hi. We've spoke on the phone a few times. Since he didn't any airchecks from his career, I've been sending him CDs of all of the Bill Bailey airchecks I have. He was so appreciative that he mailed me a print of one of his paintings. (Did you know Bill is a gifted artist?) One of the coolest things that's happened since I've been involved in this project is the day Bill Bailey called ME at home to ask for Dude Walker's home address. For this WAKY fan, that was cool on two levels: 1) Bill Bailey called me and 2) I know where Dude Walker lives! I know Bill appreciates hearing from all of his fans, so if you feel like it, drop him a note or card. His address is on the Bill Bailey Tribute Page.

If you haven't done so, check out the video of Bill Bailey and Reed Yadon doing a remote broadcast back in 1977. I don't know where it took place, but it's not bad quality (when viewed in its original size) and shows the Duke dressed to kill in a white jacket with pants to match. At 7 megs, a broadband connection is best for downloading such a hefty file, but dialup users can do as I do; find something to do around the house and get it done. I've handled large files in this way for years. In fact, I believe if I had a broadband account I'd never get anything done. Visit the Bill Bailey Tribute Page located under Features.
