Max, are you programming anything by the locals, such as Monarchs, Sultans, Cosmo, Rugbys, etc? I know the Carnations made the list some time back. It would be interesting to see how they go over with the listeners.

Yes, all except the Rugbys. We don't have anything by them.
Incidentally, there seems to be a problem getting the stream started. All I'm able to get is a Chili's commercial.
But if you have any Rugby's material or info on how to get hold of some, let me know.

There is a new twist starting this week to the charts, kind of a now and then approach. In the past, most of us were familiar with the fact that sometimes...okay quite often there were typos in the surveys. With this in mind, some of the songs I had to bounce off my Billboard library for correct spelling, as I was unfamiliar with some of them-and with good reason. Quite often songs appeared on the WAKY charts that never cracked the Top 40! (And some folks wonder why we were #1 ) Thanks to John Quincy for suggesting this idea. Was there ever a wonder where this idea came from?

Below the chart is a link to a PDF version, enabling the viewer to see the actual survey...the same one available on the Surveys page.

Thanks so much for doing this Max. This will allow vision-impaired folks who rely on screen readers to enjoy a bit of the old WAKY surveys, which can't be read in their current graphics form.
